Giant Post-It sun lights up our reception area

Visitors to Parkfield can’t fail to notice that a giant yellow sun made out of post-it notes and photos is currently taking pride of place in reception!

In case you’re wondering, the answer is that we participated in a competition to create a design on the theme of “When you’re smiling” against the other 10 Canford Healthcare homes.

One of our go-to songs is ‘You are my Sunshine’, so we thought to base our design around this and other favourite songs. We also incorporated our community links, as they are part of our home and always make us happy. Our design also represents residents and staff participating in chosen activities and including what makes us all smile!
