Parkfield House Nursing Home has a total of 40 bedrooms, spread over three floors. Most of our rooms are for individual occupants, however, we also have a few double rooms, ideal for couples who both need to move into care and want to stay together.
All the bedrooms have an en-suite toilet and washroom, and are equipped with wifi, flat screen TV and a nurse-call system.
Nursing and care staff are on hand 24/7, and our dedicated teams of chefs, activities, cleaning and housekeeping support them with cleaning and housekeeping.

Rooms vary in size and shape depending on where they are in the home, and each has its own character, ready for you to personalise it with your own possession, mementoes and perhaps some favourite items of furniture. The rooms are well-ventilated and have controllable under-floor heating so that you can get things just right.
We provide electric profiling beds for your comfort and ease of getting in and out, and for those who need it we have lifting aids and equipment and every floor has a lift and is wheelchair accessible.
Our spacious lounge and dining areas are comfortably furnished, and equipped with TVs, games and books. There are seating areas around the building giving you the choice to join in the social atmosphere, or to find a quiet spot.
Outside, the large, private garden at Parkfield House Nursing Home is popular very with our residents. The gated garden is also fully secure, with keypad access in and out. In the summer you can choose to have your lunch outside, or just sit in your favourite spot in the sun or in the shade of our lovely traditional pergola. You can even help to look after our hens, if you can’t get out into the garden, we can bring the hens to visit you in your room.
