Getting Creative At Parkfield Art Exhibition

Residents at Parkfield Care Home recently showcased their artistic flair at a vibrant art exhibition that celebrated creativity, connection, and self-expression. The event proudly featured a variety of arts and crafts projects created over recent months, guided by our talented art facilitator, Sima.
Guests were also treated to an inspiring display by Equal Arts, whose Moving World project brought a collection of intricate wooden sculptures and heartfelt stories to life. Together, the displays highlighted the power of art to bring people together and tell unique personal stories.

The exhibition offered something for everyone. Visitors admired person-centred works such as a shooting star and floral designs, took home handmade “Under the Sea” clay magnets, and enjoyed beautifully crafted die-cut Christmas cards. Residents also shared their creativity through zine books, personalised notebooks, and The Giving Tree—featuring handmade clay decorations gifted to loved ones. A standout feature was the family tree artwork, made from upcycled jigsaw pieces, now proudly displayed within the home.
The event drew wonderful feedback from visitors, who praised the talent, imagination, and effort shown by our residents. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event truly special.
